National Institute of Technology Admissions 2016: Apply before May 27



 The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Karnataka Surathkal has invited applications for admissions to Master of Science (MSc) in Physics and Chemistry programmes for the session 2016. The eligible candidates should apply in a prescribed format latest by May 27. 
Educational qualification:
The candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Physics from a recognised university or institute.
Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic performance and aptitude test.
How to apply:
The eligible, interested candidates should submit the application form along with essential documents to 'The Assistant Registrar (Academic), National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Srinivasnagar, Mangalore -575 025' by post so as to reach before the closing date.
Application fee:
General category:
 An application fee of Rs 500 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration procedure.
SC/ST category: An application fee of Rs 150 needs to be paid by the candidates for the registration process.
The candidates can make the payment through demand draft, drawn in favour of the Director, N.I.T.K., Surathkal payable at Mangalore.
Important dates:
  • Last date of submission of the application form: May 27
  • Last date for dispatch of call letters to shortlisted candidates: June 8
  • Date of selection test/interview: June 16 and June 17
  • Publication of provisional selection/merit-list on website: June 24
